How The EA Thinks Before It Trades

The system does not treat every price movement as a trading opportunity.

It ingests live market data, filters it against a fixed rule set and only executes through MT5 when the setup passes.

A DEFINED SEQUENCE OF CONDITIONS — NOT A BLACK BOX.

What The EA Reads, Filters And Executes.

Before a position exists, the EA moves through three technical stages. It ingests live market data, filters that data against a fixed rule set, and only then executes. No stage can be skipped, and nothing is decided on a feeling.

01INPUT LAYER

Data Ingestion

The EA reads the XAUUSD feed directly from the MT5 terminal and keeps a live picture of the market — price, spread, session and volatility — instead of reacting to a single candle.

  • Live XAUUSD bid / ask price ticks
  • Spread and liquidity conditions
  • Trading session and timing context
  • Volatility and momentum state
STATUSFEED · XAUUSD
02CORE LOGIC

The Filtering Engine

Every reading is tested against a predefined rule set. The engine does not interpret, guess or override — it returns a pass or a reject, and a rejected setup is discarded without a trade.

  • Fixed, predefined condition set
  • Trend and structure alignment
  • Volatility and spread thresholds
  • Risk gate: size, exposure, stop distance
STATUSRULE SET · 4 CHECKS
03OUTPUT LAYER

Precision Execution

Only when every check passes does the EA act. The order is sent through MT5 with its entry, stop loss and take profit defined at placement, then handed straight to position management.

  • Order routed through the MT5 terminal
  • Entry, stop loss, take profit set at placement
  • Position size derived from risk rules
  • Position handed to management logic

Every Tick Enters The Engine.

Nothing is decided before the data arrives.

The EA is wired directly to the XAUUSD feed and reads it as one continuous stream — price, spread and volatility arriving tick by tick, not a single snapshot. That stream is the only input the engine ever uses.

Evaluate The Conditions

A market move alone does not create a trade.

The EA evaluates whether the market meets the predefined conditions required by its trading framework. If the required conditions are not present, the filter returns a reject and no trade is opened.

WHEN THE FILTER REJECTS

No Setup. No Trade.

When the filter returns a reject, the EA does not override it. Nothing is sent to MT5. The engine simply drops back to ingestion and keeps reading XAUUSD, ready to filter the next setup.

A REJECT IS NOT AN ERROR — IT IS THE RULE WORKING.

Make The Entry Decision

Only a setup that passes the filter moves the process forward.

The filter output is a single decision — pass or reject. A passing setup is routed toward execution; a rejected one is closed out with no position opened.

PROCESS QUESTIONS

How The Loop Actually Behaves.

The questions people usually ask about how this decision process moves from one stage to the next.

It works on a single instrument, XAUUSD. Every part of the decision flow is built around reading gold price behaviour rather than spreading logic across a broad basket of symbols, so the process stays focused on one market.

The system waits. Instead of forcing a trade, it loops back and keeps observing the market until a valid setup appears. Not taking a trade is a normal outcome of the process, not a failure of it.

Direction comes from the market structure the system reads at that moment. Both long and short positions are part of the recorded behaviour, so it does not default to one side of the market.

Once a trade is open it moves into the management stage and is carried through to its exit. Management sits between execution and recording in the loop, so no position is left unattended after entry.

Execution runs inside MetaTrader 5. The EA places and manages orders through standard MT5 automated trading, so the account it runs on must permit algorithmic trading rather than manual confirmation.

Yes. Recording closes the loop. Every result, whether a profit or a loss, becomes part of the record and feeds back into how the system is reviewed over time.
